Hey Unreal people!
Thank you for getting on my list. Since I released my first MetaHuman Groom guide in 2022, it has been downloaded by thousands of creators. Yet, today we have just under 100 of you on this mailing list (since I allow my free resources to be downloaded without pushing people to subscribe).
That tells me you are the best and the most motivated to connect with my work, and I hope to deliver.
With all the craziness we are seeing in the game and VFX industries lately, between AI, layoffs, and world events, these are challenging and trying times for many of us. I believe now more than ever that we need to connect and support each other's work, whether we are indies, pros, or working in big teams.
💜 Free Asset Drop: Cyberpunk Pajamas
I'm happy to give away a free set of "Cyberpunk Pajamas" this month (this is what I call the default MetaHuman outfit from the MetaHuman Creator Library).
Go grab it on Fab and enjoy using it in your demos, games, and applications!
🟣New Assets: MetaHuman Grooms
I have some brand new groom assets available! I will also make sure to send you a quick reminder when the next Fab-wide sale is coming up so you can grab my assets at a lower price. (A hint - it’s in summer and soon!)
This one “UGN” hair asset also includes brows, beard and moustache (SOoo many clients were asking me for a “normal” beard groom for Metahumans, so here it is!)
🎬 Creators & Educators to Follow This Summer
To elevate your Unreal Engine production, here are a few brilliant creators I highly recommend following:
1. MX Bell If you're making movies, previs, or cinematics, I highly recommend MX Bell's channel. Apart from invaluable tutorials on Sequencer, Shots setup in UE5, he is currently documenting his real-time journey of creating a short film in Unreal Engine.
Watch MX Bell here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdg7Z156H2v-YrSpR_Z_PEw
2. Stephane Biava If you are like me and find yourself struggling with animations in Unreal, especially with all the new features Epic keeps releasing, Stephane is a must-follow. In his recent videos, he covers the latest Control Rig Physics Dynamics in UE.

Know someone building with Unreal Engine? Whether they are making games, real-time applications, cinematics, or movies, feel free to forward this email to someone who creates with Unreal and MetaHumans!
Cheers and stay creative, and safe!
Mari
